Description

The Navneet headquarters at Bhavani Shankar Road, Dadar, consolidates multiple divisions into a single, unified workspace, reflecting the company’s stature as a leading educational publisher and stationery brand since 1959. The project is envisioned to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation across all levels of the organization, while accommodating over 1,200 employees in a flexible and future-ready environment. The design strategy focused on intelligent space planning, natural light, and adaptable work zones to support diverse departmental needs, ranging from research and development, creative studios, business development, and technology, to administrative and executive functions. Centralized amenities, including a spacious cafeteria and executive boardroom, serve as social and functional anchors, while circulation paths and service zones prioritize efficiency, safety, and comfort. The project balances operational functionality with a culture-focused design, making the headquarters both a workplace and a statement of the brand’s enduring vision.

 Design Strategy & Brand Integration

The 18-floor layout is organized to optimize collaboration, transparency, and workflow efficiency. Open-plan workspaces, ideation rooms, and informal breakout areas encourage interaction, while specialized zones such as polymer studios, cut-and-sew areas, and photography rooms are seamlessly integrated to support departmental processes. Modular planning ensures flexibility for future growth and evolving operational needs. The interior palette follows an 80:20 principle—80% calm, neutral spaces for focused work, and 20% vibrant, flexible zones to inspire creativity and energize teams. Architectural gestures subtly reflect Navneet’s ethos of simplifying learning and empowering people, embedding brand identity into the everyday experience of employees. The headquarters serves as both a functional workplace and a cultural landmark, reinforcing the company’s legacy, supporting innovation, and enabling a collaborative, future-ready environment for all its users.
