Description
The BeFree project is a multi-story corporate headquarters designed around the human-centric “Structural Body” concept. Inspired by the human form, the building employs a spinal core for circulation and balanced structural elements that convey both serenity and ambition across office spaces. The brief emphasized flexibility, employee wellbeing, and culturally rooted design, integrating regional Indian textiles like Ashavali Ikat and Kachchh Bandhni. The project consolidates diverse corporate functions within atypical floors while providing a cohesive, aspirational workplace for leadership and employees alike. Interiors Rooted in Concept and Materiality The layout translates the “Structural Body” metaphor into tangible spatial experiences. A central spinal core anchors circulation, while atypical floors, housing training, community, corporate, and management functions, create layered experiences of work and leisure. Materials emphasize warmth and tactility, with English teak, oak, terracotta, cobble stone patterns, and muted gold accents enriching both public and private spaces. Interiors combine calm, focused zones with vibrant, flexible areas for interaction, while cultural motifs and indoor-outdoor integration reinforce identity, wellbeing, and ambition throughout the space.
