Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, New Delhi has won the GRIHA Exemplary Performance Award for Renewable Energy at the 12th GRIHA Summit 2020. The summit this year was conducted as a virtual event on December 15th-16th, themed around "Rejuvenating Resilient Habitats" to foster symbiotic design between the built and natural environment.

The project brings together this ideology with its first net-positive-energy-government office building through some architectural innovations in passive cooling and using technology to reduce energy demand.
