Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan featured in Construction World Magazine's Design-Build story

Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, our upcoming head office for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, has been #featured in Construction World Magazine's Design-Build story for spearheading green building initiatives through roofing and cladding design. With the government actively endorsing energy efficiency in the country, public buildings are expected to lead the way in minimizing their environmental footprints. Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan is poised to be at the forefront of this transition and set an example for buildings that minimize energy consumption through innovative design interventions.
“A comprehensive solar panel system using one of the most efficient PV modules available is being installed on the 60,000 sq. ft. rooftop and south façade of the building, in addition to passive design interventions for thermal comfort. As a result, it is expected to achieve net-positive energy status, exemplifying the future of energy-efficient buildings,” explains Naveen Thomas, Vertical Head of Corporate Architecture at #EdificeConsultants.
